2016-08-16_20-08-03

The registration for this year’s University is set to open on August 17th, and when it does you will have a ton of classes to choose from in all sorts of disciplines and software. I thought I would help out with the selection process by suggesting a few classes from this year’s course catalog.

RTC Roundup – North America 2016 Edition – Top 10 Tweets

Of #RTCNA – 2016 Edition

One of the things I love about RTC events is the community and their love of Twitter. Even if you aren’t at the event you feel like you’re there because of the play-by-play you get on Twitter. In honor of this, I have put together my Top 10 Tweets and Twitter Threads from RTCNA 2016.

Just a quick word of warning, for a post about 10 tweets it is really, REALLY long! (but totally worth the read)

When does 22 = 4? Why At Autodesk University 2016 of Course

2016-07-01_13-12-20

The AU 2016 acceptance emails came out at the end of last week and I was lucky enough to receive one again this year! I was surprised, maybe even a little shocked, to read that I had been accepted for 4 sessions! Maybe I got 4 because AU classes are divided into four types: Instructional Demo, Hands-on Lab, Roundtable, and Industry Talk and I have a class for each type.

Weekly Roundup – Special Edition – What’s New in Revit 2017

Final-Logo_Weekly_Roundupcanstock20563998

This is a Special Edition of the Weekly Roundup, focused solely on What’s New with Revit 2017 …….I would say all Flavors, but that’s one of the new things it’s just “Revit” in 2017, no more Architecture, Structure or MEP.

RTC NA 2016 – Scottsdale here I come! (or should I say Phoenix?)

2016-03-28_18-25-41

This year RTC NA (Revit Technology Conference North America) is taking place in the middle of July in Arizona some place between Phoenix and Scottsdale……..did you say you like it hot! Once again this year I have the honor of being selected to present two sessions.

One session is an updated, full length version of one of my sessions from last year about Revit Add-ins.

The other session is my first Lab, about the Dynamo workflow for those new or non-dynamo users.

The Living Model – Coming to a Western Canadian City Near You!

During the week of March 14th – 19th IMAGINiT and Autodesk will be hosting four live events in 4 Western Canadian cities, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatoon. These events are meant to be informative, as well as a great chance to meet and network with people in both the AEC and Manufacturing industries in these cities.

I have the great pleasure to be part of the team working on the AEC side of the event, and to present on “The Living Model” (more on the Manufacturing part later).
