If you are going to be in the Edmonton area on Wednesday March 16th, then you should stop by and check out the second eBIMc meeting of 2016! I’m honoured to be the speaker for the evening, giving an encore presentation of my AU session from last December. I will also talk a little about some of the great new things that just came out in the latest FormIt 360 release on March 1st.

This is a Special Edition of the Weekly Roundup, focused solely on What’s New with all flavors of Revit 2016 R2 – (formerly Revit Sunrise).
As more info and posts come out, I will update this post to keep all your Revit 2016 R2 info in one place!
It has been a long time coming, but today Autodesk released 4 more of their subscription add-ins for Revit 2016. these where released via the Autodesk Exchange Apps Store. In the pasted you could find them as part of your Autodesk Subscription Site (now your Autodesk Account).
Here are the direct links to the Add-ins on the Exchange Apps site:
There is still one missing:
- Worksharing Monitor
Hopefully the Worksharing Monitor will be out soon.
Update Aug. 19th:
Worksharing Monitor 2016 now available
So like many of you out there in Internet land I’ve been looking for, and waiting for some of the 2016 versions of the Revit Subscription Add-ins I’ve come accustom to getting every year when the new version comes out.
Here is a quick tip for those of you out there in ACAD land that like to have as few tabs open as possible when working in ACAD.
In the new release of ACAD 2016 the “Start” page is now a tab that is always on by default.
The AU 2015 acceptance emails came out this week, and I was lucky enough to get one again this year! This will cap off a busy year of Speaking for me with 2 classes at RTCNA 2015 in July, 2 Classes and RTCEUR 2015 in October, and then one more at AU 2015 in December.
This past week I received my copy of the 2016 version of the “Master Autodesk Revit Architecture” series paperback book in the mail. While this was not something new to me, as I’ve been “collecting” them since the 2009 version, this one is special. Why you ask, well because this copy came direct to me from one of the authors, Eddy Krygiel …….and it was signed!
The week that was in the world of BIM and other Techie fun stuff, for the week of May 10th – May 16th, 2015.
We will start this weeks Roundup off with a neat little post from Revit OpEd.
