The BIMsider’s favourite Podcasts, Vodcasts and Videos from the world of AEC and BIM – for the week of Dec. 31st – Jan. 6th, 2018.
I’m going to start this week off with a video, one of many from the Autodesk University Online library from 2017 in Las Vegas. This one is the Computational BIM Workshop for Beginners, there are 3 parts to watch. You can download the dataset HERE.
This year Autodesk University is changing things up a little when it comes to how submissions for AU 2017 are selected. This year they are publishing all 2,257 abstracts that got submitted on or before the May 17th deadline. You can head over the Autodesk University Website to review all submissions and vote for the ones you like here.
Now to be clear – voting isn’t the only means by which submissions get selected for AU 2017 but rather another tool for the selection committee to use in ensuring the best lineup. This can be seen in the verbiage used on the voting page:
A collection of observations and opinions from myself and my friends around the world in relation to the Architecture, BIM, Sustainability, Technology & Learning in the AEC industry. There's no space here for 'old skool' thinking.
