This is a re-post of a Blog I did for work, which is posted on the IMAGINiT Building Solutions Blog here.
The latest version of Revit, 2016 is now out in the world and has been for a few weeks. I have come to learn about 2 little hidden gems of “New” features in Revit 2016. Now for whatever reason these hidden gems have been left off the official Autodesk information for what is new with the 2016 release. In this post I’m going to talk about second of the two hidden gems – Multiline Text Type Parameter.

I will start this weeks post with a slightly dark view on Revit and its future, after all the joy of last weeks 2016 release this is a good check and balance by Paradigm Shift. (P.S. this post is over a year old, but after seeing what’s new in 2016, it still applies today)

This is a Special Edition of the Weekly Roundup, focused solely on What’s New with Revit 2016 (all flavours).

Hello All,
Hard to believe but AU is only 3 weeks away, so if you haven’t signed up yet there is still time.
If you are looking for a Tuesday afternoon class for Autodesk University 2014 (AU 2014) December 2nd – 4th at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV, well I just might have one for you…..Mine!
You can sign up for my class by going to the AU site and search for class AC6640 – There are currently 53 spots left (118 seats filled) so about 70% full.
This class is designed to provide a little fun as we explore some of the apps and add-ins that are out there for Autodesk, Inc., software. While the general flow of this class will be fun, you’ll discover some helpful apps that can increase your productivity as well. The class will cover 30 different apps, which fit into 4 different categories during this 60-minute class. The 4 categories will be: mobile, production, add-ins, and fun.
My class is Tuesday December 2nd 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Hope to see you there.

P.S. there will be free giveaways in my session . I will be giving away 5 copies of the IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit 2015 (or version of your choice 2012 – 2015) on a 12 month stand-alone license.
Just remember to you have to be there to win!
Quick update – Oct. 22/14
Autodesk University has moved my class to a bigger room to allow for more seats. My class now has 209 seats total – 105 seats open, with 104 seats filled.
