If you are going to be in the Calgary area on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm you should attend this cBIMc meeting, it’s FREE!
1 Night – 2 Great Presentations!
Plannerly – The BIM Management Platform: For BIM Managers, it’s a constant challenge to get all companies to agree on BIM requirements. Every project, these people create BIM Execution Plans in order to try and align project teams. This is especially true if you’re a medium or large company. The main problem they face is the output is not read, agreed to or followed which leads to misunderstandings, disagreements, waste and an unhappy BIM world. Today, their best option is using Word and Excel and other disconnected tools, but of course, they take too long are not structured and are completely disconnected from the rest of the BIM tools.
With more BIM projects starting, the problem will only get worse over time. If only there was a more simple and connected approach to create these critical plans in a way that teams can understand, then customers could agree to more effective requirements, which would lead to more integrated BIM and happier teams.
Pomerleau highlights an Award Winning BIM Project: Willow Square Continuing Care Centre – Pomerleau is committed to innovative practice in the construction industry. Sophisticated technology dominates our approach to the project, enabling us to collaborate more closely with stakeholders and deliver a production beyond compare. With BIM-VDC, this collaborative approach optimizes the processes in each project phase, from design proposal to operation and maintenance.
This promises to be a very interesting evening – Don’t miss out!
