Carl Storms has worked in the AECO industry since 1998, currently serving as Technical Success Manager at Newforma. He started out as a proud BIM crusader, helping teams adopt digital workflows, and has since grown into an AECO tech explorer with a focus on emerging technology.

These days that means AI, automation, APIs, and low-code or no-code tools, often experimenting with AI-assisted coding. The goal of The BIMsider has always been the same: explore the technology early, share what's been learned, and help others decide if it's worth their time.
